I often feel a little jaded with all of the YA books flooding the market. But every once in a while I luck out and come across a hidden gem. HALO is most diffidently a gem.
I was able to lose myself in the story right away. The characters are well developed and full of life. The world is detailed and colorful. I really liked this book, it was almost (this close > <) to being a 5 star book for me. But I am really, really stingy with them and just couldn't do it. <br/> Just kidding... it is a 5 star book.
This is my first Frankie Rose novel but it is most certainly not my last. I look forward to reading more of her novels.
I highly recommend this book.
